Corn Belt Clash 2015 Schedule Announces New Events and Bringing Some Back from the Past

The 2015 Corn Belt Clash Series schedule kicks off at the Kosiski Family’s 4-10 mile speed plant in Greenwood, Nebraska on April 3-4 with a week end total of $7k going to the events winners. They take a week off to prepare for the richest weekend for the series of the 15 schedule, at Davenport’s half-mile kicking off the weekend for 35 lap $4,000 to win event on Friday April 17. Saturday heading into West Burlington’s Famed 3/8 facility proud to be a part of the Brent Slocum Memorial for the Slocum 50 that has the winners share being $10,555 for the 50 lap event. Concluding the weekends traveling for the first time in series history to the Quad City’s Speedway for a $3,000 to win event. After a few weeks off the super late-models will travel to a new venue to the Park Jefferson International Speedway for a pair a shows Friday May 29 and Saturday May 30 to the newly remodeled facility. By the time June 25-26-27 rolls around the super late-model’s will head back west to Park Jefferson speedway Thursday with Friday at I-80 Speedway for the annual Alphabet Soup race paying the winner  $3,000 to win. On Saturday, they head to the super fast black dirt of the half-mile of Adams County Fairgrounds (ACS) in Corning, Iowa for the annual Liberty 50 paying $5,000 to win.

 

The CBC still has a couple dates in July to be determined, to make a good two day event for the dirt track super stars hopefully to be announced soon.

 

When returning to action the super late-model’s invade the Fayette County Fair (FCS) in West Union Ia.   August 7 Friday night is a $5000 to win event sponsored by Crop Production Services in West Union for the Fair’s headlining attraction. Followed by a $4,000 to win event to be named in a short week or so on the 8th of August. Returning to the Oshkosh Speed Zone for the second year being the sanction series for the Hale’s Corners Reunion/ George Scheffler Memoral  $7,000 event  Friday August 28, then Saturday the 29th heading back to a familiar racing facility The  Plymouth Dirt Track @ the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds. As the series then heads to UMP land where Super Dirt Cars dominate Illinois they hope weather cooperates unlike last year when this next event was washed out by mother nature @ Farmer’s City Speedway in Farmers City Illinois Friday September 4. Then returning to Fairbury American Legion Speedway (FALS) for the 2 time in tours history for the final event in Illinois on September 5th . As the season winds to the conclusion for the 15 schedule Promoter Bob Wagner of the Davenport Speedway and the Corn Belt Clash Promoter Cam Granger decided to bring back the Famous Governors Cup Finally on September 11-12 being somewhat of a different event they will race Friday Night the 11 on the ¼ mile bullring and then going to the Super Fast ½ Mile for the $5,000 to win event on Saturday the 12 of September  to close out the season points for the dirt track stars .
