Corn Belt Clash Series Prepares to Storm Back into Action




The Corn Belt Clash Series is preparing to return to action next weekend as it invades Cedar County Raceway in Tipton, Iowa on Friday, July 25 for a $3,000-to-win show. The next night the teams and drivers of the CBC make the trip north to the LayFayette County Speedway in Darlington, Wisconsin on Saturday the 26th for another $3,000-to-win show.


The series will take a couple weeks off before two bigs weekends of racing to close out the 2014 season. Thursday, August 21 the series returns to Luxemburg Speedway for a $3,000-to-win show. The next night the series makes its first ever trip to the Oshkosh Speed Zone Raceway as its a part of the Annual George Sheffler Memorial. The teams of the CBC will close out the Wisconsin swing with a return trip to the Plymouth Dirt Track on Saturday, August 23 for a $3,000-to-win show to close out the weekend.


A weekend of firsts will close out the 2014 season as the series invades the Land of Lincoln for three big events August 29, 30 and 31 to celebrate Labor Day weekend. Friday night the series makes its first trip to Farmer City Raceway for a $3,000-to-win show, the next night they make the short trip to the legendary Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois for another $3,000-to-win show before closing out the weekend and season at the Vermillion County Speedway in Danville, Illinois on Sunday August 31 for another $3,000-to-win event. Veteran Chad Simpson currently leads the series points over brother Chris Simpson while Minnesota's Jordan Yaggy leads the Rookie of the Year presented by VP Racing Fuels Heartland and Out-Pace Racing Products point standings.
