Deer Creek Postponed, CBC Prepares to Invade South Dakota

Due to early season wet conditions and a new surface, officials with the Deer Creek Speedway and Corn Belt Clash Series have decided to postpone the April 25th race at the speedway. "We are working on rescheduling a date that works for both parties and hope to have something to announce in the upcoming weeks," stated CBC president Cam Granger.

In other series news, the Corn Belt Clash Series is proud to add another date to its 2014 schedule as for the first time in series' history, they drivers and teams of the CBC will invade the state of South Dakota on Thursday, June 26 for a $3,000 to win show at Park Jefferson Speedway in Jefferson, South Dakota. The event will be co-sanctioned with the MARS Series and will be the opening stop on the series' annual western swing as the next night the series returns to I-80 Speedway before going to Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa on June 28 to close out the three-race weekend.

The series would also like to send out it's condolences to the Chancellor family on the passing of Allen 'Cowboy' Chancellor this week. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
